Yes, Bettie! The more open our hearts are to receive the love and grace Jesus gives, the more it will pour out of us to anyone we meet. I’m so glad He doesn’t have favorites. It reminds me of a St. Augustine quote – “He loves each one of us as if there were only one of us.” Blessings and love to you, too! May we see each person as Jesus sees them!

This song has been one that’s spoken to my heart over the past months. There’s so much truth in it. We need to look beyond the color of skin, even the differences of viewpoints and remember that we are ALL made in God’s image. Great words here,

One of my favourite songs from Mandisa. It can be such a dark world and some people can be hard to love when they seem so different from ourselves. But they see us as different too, don’t they? And may be struggling to like us! Jesus command to love others as ourselves is simple in words, yet seems to be one that can be the hardest in our world where ‘I’m right and you are wrong’ can dominant. Thankfully, there is hope and even Mandisa’s song shows that hope!
