God Desires to Comfort Us When Anxieties and Worries Are Many

“When the cares of my heart are many,
 Your consolations cheer my soul.”
Psalm 94:19 ESV
“When anxiety overtakes me and worries are many,
Your comfort lightens my soul.”
Psalm 94:19 VOICE

Dear Readers,
I am taking a break from blogging until August 20. Meanwhile, please feel free to browse old posts. Above all, remember that when cares, anxieties, and worries overtake you, God desires to take you in His safe and loving arms and comfort you! Life’s struggles can be heavy, but God’s still got us. No matter how much it hurts or how hard it gets, may God help us to trust Him and His plan and timing!
Love in Christ Jesus!

“Be still and know
That the Lord is in control
Be still my soul
Stand and watch as giants fall…”

  1. Dear Trudy,
I will surely be praying for you over this summer, as I continue to take a blogging break also. I am not sure of the date when I will return yet, but I am so grateful that God knows the path He wants us walking on. May you be blessed with such refreshing peace in His presence, and joyful times with your family! Love and Hugs dear friend! xoxo

    1. Thank you, Lisa. It’s truly a comfort to know deep in our hearts that God’s still got us, isn’t it? May we cast all our cares and the troubles in this world on Him who has the power to do anything!

    1. Thank you, Lynn. I really need those breathing spaces. 🙂 Thank you also for reminding me of this Psalm verse in one of your posts. Hugs to you, too! May we breathe in deep of the love and goodness of God in His awesome creation!

  2. I was just writing about giving ourselves summertime grace and space this morning, friend. You and I are tracking in the same direction as I cut back on blogging as a natural response to it’s endlessness!

Praying for refreshment for your soul …
