Jesus Came For Us
Jesus Died For Us
Jesus Lives For Us
Mary’s faith awes me. Though afraid, she willingly gave herself into God’s hands. But even more amazing is the infinitely greater willingness of Jesus to be born into this world. WITH us. FOR us. IN us. WITH GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
This is an edited poem from one I wrote 10 years ago:
Out of Nazareth
A despised town
Mary
Poor and unknown
Young and inexperienced
With no authority around men
In the eyes of society
Not good enough
To be used by God
BUT GOD
Highly favored her
To be used to bring forth
His salvation for us
And she gave her whole self
Into the hands of God
With a willing heart
Even though she would be
Ridiculed and condemned
And she conceived
The Savior of the World
How could this be?
BECAUSE WITH GOD
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
The Son of God
Came down in the flesh
To save us
To bring
SALVATION for the sinner
HOPE for the hopeless
FREEDOM for the captive
LIGHT for those in darkness
LOVE for the lost
LIFE for the dead
MERCY from judgment
GRACE for the undeserving
PEACE to the chaos
JOY for the grieving
So let’s remember
GOD IS ALMIGHTY
He can level mountains
In our lives
He can use us
For His glory
No matter how small
And insignificant we feel
Because He came down
To deliver us
To make us worthy
To give us power in Him
When GOD is in us
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Songs That Breathe Hope
Into Aching Hearts
❤️ Hope Is Alive by Ellie Holcomb
“Into our aching, into our breaking
Into our longing to be made whole
Your arms are reaching, Your love is holding us close
And into our suffering, into our weeping
Into this need we have to be known
Your arms are reaching, Your love is holding us close
So sing with the Angels that filled up the sky
Those in the shadows have seen a great light
He is right here among us
Our God is with us tonight
And hope is alive
Hope is alive.”
❤️ Light of the World by Lauren Daigle
“The world waits for a miracle
The heart longs for a little bit of hope
Oh come, Oh come Emmanuel…”
❤️ The Promise Has Come by Risen Tunes
“…The promise has come.
Jesus our hope.
Emmanuel, God with us.
We’re not alone…”
Is your heart aching? Are you grieving from a devastating loss of some kind? Is your heart weary of all the chaos and injustice in this world? Are you yourself a target of abuse and injustice? Are you feeling depressed, rejected, insignificant, or worthless? This time of the year can be extra difficult for many for a variety of reasons. God knows and cares about what you’re dealing with. He knows the deepest hurts of your heart. May He fill your weary hearts with HOPE and LOVE and PEACE in whatever season of life you are in.

Your original poem is absolutely stunning, Trudy! Thank you for reminding us all that love truly came down at Christmas and because of Jesus, we have a forever home with God as His children. Praying for all those who are grieving loss at this time. May our loving Father wrap them closely in His comforting arms. Blessings to you always!
