Trudy, your words, images and quotes have so uplifted me today. I’ve printed out the Bible scripture Advent calendar for my grandchildren, and will mail that to them tomorrow. It will make a great addition to the permanent cloth Advent calendar I purchased for them last year.
Also, if it’s okay with you, I’d like the option to share the quote from Henry Nouwen in a future blog. Let me know, please, my friend, as I’m looking to write a post about Advent.

Trudy, those quotes are POWERFUL! “I Heard the Bells …” by Casting Crowns is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I always love “I Heard the Bells,” too, Lois. It’s so comforting that in Jesus there is peace on earth though “hate is strong and mocks the song.” God is not dead nor doth He sleep!
