When Loneliness Overwhelms
Jesus said:
“A time is coming and in fact has come
when you will be scattered, each to your own home.
You will leave Me all alone.
Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with Me.
I have told you these things,
so that in Me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:32-33 NIV

You have taken hold of my right hand.
With Your counsel You will guide me,
And afterward receive me to glory.”

Kindness Quotes
🦋 “The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: ‘If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?’ But the good Samaritan reversed the question: ‘If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?’” – Martin Luther King Jr.
🦋 “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’ To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.” – Fred Rogers
🦋 “Never look down on anybody unless you’re helping him up.” – Jesse Jackson

Oh my gosh..those pictures are crazy amazing! Especially that last one. And I’d prefer not to run into that bat! I have mouse trap in my yard currently that has a dead mouse inside of it. I won’t go near it. haha! Lovely scriptures you have shared. We are never alone. And may I be one who also helps others so they know they are not alone.

So true, Lisa. Even “loving” people don’t always fully understand us like God can and does. He knows our deepest heart and the struggles and pain that no words can explain to a person. May we cling to our faithful God who empathizes with us like no human can and who will never abandon us!
